Well, it’s finally here! The much anticipated album about Davy Crockett, the Crockett Chronicles by K.R. Wood, has been released and is available to the public. Included on the album is the Ballad of Davy Crockett from the 1950’s Walt Disney TV show, the Ballad of the Alamo from the 1960 John Wayne movie, Travis’ “Victory or Death” letter and several new songs written by K.R., himself. Several people you may know are on the album with K.R. including, TLA Director, Charlie Yates as the voice of Davy Crockett, Elizabeth Glidden as the voice of Elizabeth Crockett and Susie Yandell Wood as the voice of Susanna Dickenson. The album tells the life of a great American hero and contains some really great music. You can click on one of the links below for a little sample of the album.
